Our Community Foundation (OCF) is a grassroots charity dedicated to supporting people in inner-city areas of Birmingham. Established as a not-for-profit organisation, it focuses on creating projects and initiatives that help individuals improve their lives, change their conditions, and reach their full potential.

The foundation offers a range of programmes, including the Hatch programme for work placements, holiday activity clubs for children, and life skills training supported by Family Action. They also provide first aid training for young people in partnership with St. John Ambulance.

Within the Birmingham Community Action Network (BCAN) consortium, Our Community Foundation collaborates with other local organisations to enhance the impact of their services. This partnership allows them to contribute their expertise in community development and grassroots initiatives to BCAN’s mission of fostering a connected and thriving Birmingham.
