Game of Stones

Supporting our communities to lose weight and better manage Type 2 diabetes.

Game of Stones is a free, personalised programme designed to support people with Type 2 diabetes to lose weight, improve their blood sugar levels, and build healthier habits that last.

Working with a Lifestyle Coach, participants receive practical, culturally appropriate support tailored to their everyday lives and individual goals. B:CAN will be working with Birmingham City Council Public Health and local GP’s who will be referring patients into the programme, ensuring a holistic, clinically focused approach to the interventions.

Programme support

Taking the first step towards a healthier lifestyle can feel challenging, but you don't have to do it alone. Our Lifestyle Coaching programme is designed to help you make realistic, sustainable changes that fit your daily life and personal goals.

With guidance from a trained Lifestyle Coach, you'll receive tailored support to improve your eating habits, increase physical activity, and enhance your overall wellbeing. Through one-to-one coaching sessions, you'll develop a personalised physical activity plan, access culturally appropriate healthy eating advice, and receive wellbeing support to help you stay on track.

You'll also benefit from regular motivational text messages, providing encouragement, practical tips, and ongoing inspiration throughout your journey. Together, we'll help you build healthy habits that can lead to lasting positive change.
