Northfield Community Partnership (NCP) is a vital community anchor organisation based in South West Birmingham, dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of local residents and community groups. As a member of the Birmingham Community Anchor Network (BCAN), NCP collaborates with other organisations to address key community needs and foster social cohesion.
Established with the support of Big Lottery Reaching Communities funding, NCP has become an integral part of Northfield, serving over 10,000 people annually from its prominent high street location. The organisation offers a comprehensive range of services, including job support, volunteering opportunities, health and wellbeing services, and financial assistance.
The charity’s impact extends to various aspects of community life. NCP runs popular family beach events, attracting around 20,000 visitors per year. Their foodbank services are crucial, providing approximately 60,000 meals annually to local families and individuals in need. NCP delivers many services and programmes which improve health and wellbeing, working with children, families, community centres to promote healthier lifestyles.
As a BCAN member, NCP contributes to the network’s mission of delivering accessible, diverse, and integrated services across Birmingham. This collaboration enhances NCP’s ability to create lasting positive change in the community, ensuring that Northfield residents have access to the resources they need to thrive.
