Muath Trust

The Muath Trust is a prominent community anchor organisation, attracting and serving over 5,000 local people weekly of which 1500 are young people. Founded with a mission to support the socio-economic advancement of the community, the Muath Trust offers comprehensive facilities and services.
Its primary focus lies in delivering education, training and employment programmes, youth services, health & wellbeing, elderly projects, housing, welfare and cultural services.
The strength of the Muath Trust lies in its holistic approach to community development, addressing various aspects of life to create a cohesive and resilient community. The Muath Trust strives to provide services to Birmingham’s most deprived BAME community majority, aiming to lift them out of poverty, break the cycle of generational deprivation and contribute to unlocking their potential and transform lives.
Its vision is to build a welcoming, aspirational and thriving community based on values of trust, service, excellence and accountability. The mission of the Trust is to support individuals and strengthen families to reach their full potential.
As a BCAN member, the Muath Trust leverages its extensive network and collaborative efforts to amplify its impact, ensuring that the needs of Birmingham residents are met through shared resources and collective action.
