New Hope Global, established as a registered charity in 2014, was founded by a group of community members and is dedicated to enhancing the lives of people in Birmingham, with a particular focus on community cohesion within ethnic minority communities.

New Hope Global’s vision is to build an empowered, inclusive, community-focused, and sustainable organisation aimed at improving the capacity and quality of life for the most disadvantaged and deprived communities. Their mission is to deliver change and encourage ethnic minority communities to address issues of social, health, and economic exclusion, poverty, social isolation, and ill-health. They achieve this through high-quality, tailored services focusing on four key priority areas: Training, Employment & Education, Health and Mental Well-being, Arts and Heritage, and Community Engagement and Cohesion.

As a community anchor within Birmingham Community Action Network (B:CAN) New Hope Global’s collaboration with other consortium organisations allows them to enhance their impact by working alongside other local organisations to provide integrated and accessible services. Through BCAN, New Hope Global contributes its expertise in community development and support, ensuring that the needs of Birmingham’s ethnic minority communities are effectively addressed.
